Day 1 Marrakech – Zagora
Click excursions picks you up at your hotel in Marrakech in a 4×4 vehicle. Direction the High Atlas by the road Tizi’n Tichka – many Berber villages with red or gray huddled at the foot of the slopes. Many photo stops. You will go through the Tizi’n Tichka pass (2260m), the highest road pass in Morocco. The first palms appear, a wide desert plain with beige and pink colors leads to Ouarzazate where you will stop for lunch.
Continue to Agdz – visit the Ksar de Tamnougalt – crossing the Ait Saoun mountain (1500m) and the steep canyons replacing the black rock hills. You will walk along the beautiful Draa Valley to Zagora. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 Zagora – Erg Chegaga
After breakfast, you continue towards the nomadic village of M’hamid: the first dunes (Tinfou) announcing the desert sand.
Stop at Tamgroute – visit the Koranic Library and workshops-cooperatives pottery. Arrive to M’hamid where dromedaries are waiting for you to take you to the desert Morocco. Stop lunch in an Oasis where a 4×4 will pick you up to drive you to Chigaga. Erg, Reg, Oasis, big Hammada, diversity of landscapes –
Numerous photo stops before arriving at Erg Chegaga – ascent to the highest dune (300m) from where you will have a fantastic panorama of the Sahara and where you can watch the sunset and surf the sands. Installation – meals – musical evening and night under a nomad tent at the Bivouac.
Day 3 Erg Chegaga – Marrakech
After sunrise, departure by 4×4 through the desert, in direction from Foum Zguid through the dry Lake of IRIQUI, then Tazenakht, at the gates of Jbel Siroua where we can admire orange weaved carpets woven by the Ouaouzguite tribes. Click excursions pick up team will take you to your hotel in Marrakech at the end of the day.
